OK I don't think I can do that again....I dunno know how.....but I JUST beat Extravaganza which is a 7 on the lowest difficulty with a B......I have no IDEA how I did that.

I have been contemplating playing DDR and/or ITG. I have thought about trying it again and buying the home version cause if I like it, I can get metal pads for home. . My PiU pad at home has been broken thanks to my nephews jumping on it with shoes -_-.

I fell and hit my head today playing pump on xbox today, I was playing that one Cio (something) Outpost on Hard and my feet got mixed up and I triped and fell and hit my head on the wall......I am temperally quiting pump... -_-

for those who don't know, I bought Beatmania for PS2 and I am a noob at it, I can beat almost all 1s (except Outer Limits)....yay, I suck at beatmania.....but at least I try ^_^

I did essentially the same thing the last time I was in there, and it was no fun.

(Which is, ironically, one of the reasons I got Beatmania. Hrm.)

Congratulations anyway on Extravaganza.

I love your DJ face. And keep trying! Outer Limits can be a pain since you have so little reference for where you're supposed to be.

Yes, use the right side of the tt to spin. Even if you don't pinky-scratch, it allows for alot quicker return to keys.

I can't really do that, I have a skin conditon and I don't have like anything on my fingers there are no fingerprints, so I have no grip on the turntable and if I don't use a couple fingers to spin it, my hand will just slide across it. ^_^ but thanks for the advice....when my skincondition goes away I will do that.

Maybe pick up some of these?

I've had 'traction' issues with beatmania from time-to-time as well. I've been known to lick a finger (like you might do before turning the page in a book) while playing so that I actually turn the turntable rather than just skating across it.

And since no one else has done it yet, I will suggest that there is also the option of always keeping one hand on the keys and one hand on the turntable.

You won't have to worry about jumping one hand back and forth quickly, but many will argue that the game is much more difficult with only one hand on the keys given that you have five fingers and there are seven keys. However, I personally find this style of play more fun and I think it also looks more impressive (see: LISU).

Played pump some more.....
Beat Canon-D on hard (5) with an S, with bar sadly
Finally beat Vook on normal (4) with no bar, it took me a while to get all of it down

Tommorow I am heading to b-town to pick up my girlfriend and before that I am heading to the arcade to play some more pump, I am going to beat LIADZ2 on Normal (7) and I am going to try as FLAKK suggested, Jump on Hard (7) and if I pass those I may try my luck with Go on hard (6). ^_^ Wish me luck yall.
