Innocent Walls is one of those songs you can't play on random because the ending is so retarded. If you don't know what 4-note chord you need to jack at the end then you're fucked because the little pattern after the jacks will get you maybe 32% on your groove gauge at most. In that regard it's a lot like Colors [a] except you actually have a chance to barely get 80% on your gauge on that song if you PC the ending after the retard roll.

Luckily the non-random isn't too bad for people with the turntable on the left.

Indeed, I can't help but think that Innocent Walls is a 12 just cause of that one part. Also, I attempted Setsugekka and I can't quite clear it due to the scratches in the final five seconds of the song. I figure once I get better on that I should be able to pull it off.

Edit: I almost forgot to mention this. A second IIDASC has been ordered and upon its arrival I will start playing 14 keys upon its arrival.

This might be enough to get me back into IIDX.

14-key was the only way I was ever even remotely competitive with anyone on IIDX. But that's mostly just due to inexperience on the part of most people as they do not have access to doubles controls. I'd imagine my competitiveness with Dave would only last a couple weeks with him playing 14-key regularly...assuming I have any advantage on him at all (it's not like I've been playing much lately either).

Nope, sorry. I actually do not have any CS IIDX controllers at all anymore. I sold them all after I got the machine.

They come up on eBay all the time still. Sometimes they're even still sealed in box.

Yeah but then I'm getting ripped the fuck off.

$80 for something extremely high maintenance? Eff that. I'm done dealing with sticky keys. I'd rather buy one from a local guy.

'Ey mang joo got any Beet controllers? Hook a man up bro or imma bout to slang some game wit'chu.

Way to look at one auction out of hundreds.

I have two US controllers (I think one is broken, though) and a Japanese one. I don't really use any of them.
A normality test:
+++ATH
If you are no longer connected to the internet, you need to apply more wax to your modem: it'll make it go faster.
If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.

New scores from 9th Style and DistorteD were put up this week. Essentially, I'm going to focus on scores posted before 2008 and working up to newer scores for 7 keys.

Oct. 21st Edit:
Redoing scores in Happy Sky currently. New AAA on L'Amour Et La Liberte Hyper.

First, new scores from 10th Style have been put online. Oddly enough, I never played Limited Another until today which was kind of inspired by seeing a video of Dolce getting one great. Here's a few highlights:

New AAAs:
Limited Hyper and Another
High Another
Changes Hyper

New AAs:
Choo Choo Train (dnb mix) Another
Hype The Core Hyper
Narcissus At Oasis Hyper
Acid Vision Hyper

Also, when the second controller arrives, I'm definitely interested in doing a song of the week for 14 key like Merk has setup for DDR. Any takers?
