Wow. Isn't that something. What kind of make is it?

The real brand is unknown. It's a promotional item from Bass Pale Ale. Here's an identical one with lots of pics:

I have a feeling that it's of more value as a promotional item hanging on a wall somewhere than an actual playable instrument, but I don't know anything about guitars so I can't say for sure. At least I was able to tune it!

Looks like a Fender Squire.

Though the body, headstock, and pickguard all look custom, all the electronics and the bridge are the same as the Squire's.

The Squire is Fender's entry level guitar, running about $100. Their quality tends to vary depending on what country it was made in and such, but all in all it's a great starter guitar. I've actually had my Squire for about six or seven years now, and it still sounds great. The only problem is that there seems to be some shoddy wiring in it, as the pickups stop responding sometimes and I have to fiddle with the selector switch to get them to pick up again.

actually... "Squier" is just kind of an off-shoot of Fender. While manufactured/owned by Fender, it's just a cheaper brand of the same guitars. Stratocasters, Telecasters, and everyone's favorite models from Fender can be found for cheaper by going with Squier rather than Fender. It's exactly the same deal as Epiphone is with Gibson. Cheaper, and of seemingly equal quality but there are small minute differences.

But seriously, sell that guitar and buy a Schecter C-1

So lately I've been entering some of the online tournaments over at GuitarHero.com. So far, I've won a few minor tournaments here and there and gotten some minor swag (a Guitar Hero keychain, wallcling and wristband), and thanks to my good luck (not necessarily my skill), I just won a t-shirt, poster, and hoodie. Yay!

I've also placed 12th in Round 1 of the national Gamespot Rock-tacular Tournament. That's enough to make it to round 2, where the top 25 will make it to Round 3, and then the final 4 will be chosen to win trips to compete on Gamespot TV for a chance for $1000! While I don't stand a chance of making top 4, there's a decent chance that I'll at least make it through the top 25 cut to the third round. Stay tuned!

As someone who has a Squier, it's like the Geo Metro of guitars.

It sucks, but it sure beats walking.

After getting burned out on GH3, I went back to GH2 for a while and found out I had gotten surprisingly better, picking up most of the 5-stars that I hadn't gotten around to before (most of these scores hadn't been updated in over a year):

All Expert:

Jordan 264,072 (5 Star)
Six 262,145 (5 Star)
Psychobilly Freakout 208,871 (5 Star)

This leaves only Misirlou left to 5-star on GH2. Hopefully coming soon...?

Well, I've managed to 5* it (only once I think, after quite a bit of practice), and that Psychobilly score beats mine, and I haven't even PASSED Jordan, so you should be able to get it =]

Yeah, the thing about Jordan is that it's incredibly easy to 5-star, once you can actually pass it, since there's so much easy stuff at the beginning. Many people 5-star it the first time they pass it, although it took me a couple tries...

Yeah, that's what I've heard as well. I've played it maybe 5 times. I hate failing a song over and over again, so I just never took the time to figure out how to do it (or TTFaF for that matter).
