Hard cleared A [a]!
Hard cleared Fake Time [7]!

Fake Time [7] is, oddly enough, a 12 so I guess that mark another 12 that I've cleared!

Actually, shit, I guess Fake Time [7] was downgraded to an 11. I clearly remember the [7] chart being rated a 12 during Happy Sky at least since it was the one of two [7] charts that were the 12, the other one being Gigadelic. Oh well, at least I finally cleared it! This is one of those charts where the hard clear is arguably easier than the normal clear.

All [7] charts on IIDX red have been officially hard cleared yayyyyyyyy cheevo unlocked. In fact I think the only [A] charts I haven't cleared on Red are:

Blocks
AA
Scorpion Fire
Erasermotor Phantom (I've cleared this on Distorted, just not on Red)

Blocks is still the most bullshit chart hoooooooooly shit.

Fake Time does awesome things with the bass shaker in a IIDX cabinet. :)

There's one section in particular that has a low, slow bass sweep hit and will essentially always manage to tickle to resonance of the shaker itself as well as the platform. Skyscraper does the same thing a few times. The result is pretty impressive if you've never played it on an actual machine with a working stage shaker.

I played Vox Up [7] for about two hours straight yesterday trying to hard clear it. After about 200 plays of that song I could not hard clear it and now my hands hurt and I hate myself.

I don't have the patience to play a song more than like twice in a row, let alone 200. You nuts.

To be fair, the first 15 seconds of Vox Up are like the hardest part so you either fail instantly or barely pass and hang on for dear life and hope that you can flub your way through the rest of the chart. Every hard-fail counts as a play so it's pretty easy to rack up the play count for that particular song.

My rampant asperger's does rear its ugly head though when it comes to music games. If I have a goal (AAA Spin The Disc, hard-clear Vox Up [7]) then I have no problems playing the same God damn song over and over until I get it

I don't really miss trying to play songs repeatedly to get the clear/AA/AAA on that game cause diminishing returns would often set in early.

Cleared Laser Cruster [a] yayyyyyyyyy another 12

I'm going to start being a little more meticulous in my 12 clearing and really start making measurable goals for myself and focus on getting better at this shit. There's a list of 12s and the playerbase's general consensus on how difficult each 12 is compared to each other here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub ... k9nbHM3b3c

According to this list I've cleared 23 songs with V and ErasorMotorPhantom being the hardest 12s I've cleared. God damn I have a lot of work to do...
