I would have to argue that "Banana Phone" is better. :)

That's the funniest thing I've read in awhile, and it's fits the stereotype so very very well. I for one am certainly not of the homosexual category (harhar), but I certainly love listening to techno. Hell, Daft Punk's playing as we speak.

I love it.

I've been alternating between Abbey Road and Ok Computer for the last couple days.

Yay.

As part of my neverend desent into Dorkdom...

...I've started listening to "The Black Mages."

A weird group made by the guy who writes the music for the Final Fantasy games.

Basically, he takes the 'fight' music from the various Final Fantasies and plays them with his Heavy Metal Band.

Some of it's kinda bad, but I kinda like his remix of the Fight music from Final Fantasy 1, and his remix of the Boss music from Final Fantasy 3(6).

I donno, it's really weird.

It's kinda like Manhime Steamroller(sp) turned evil, and started playing a lot of Final Fantasy.

SDP is fucking metal.

\m/^o^\m/

Oh yeah, so anyways.

The Sounds of Animals Fighting - The Tiger and the Duke, is amazing. Get it when it comes out

Is there where I'm supposed to make my obligatory list of bands I like? :-\ Eeeeh... k... Well, how I about I restrict it to bands/artists that I've been listening to over the past 2-3 months, as opposed to ones that I've liked for a long time. Oh heavens to betsy!!

The Sounds of Animals Fighting, Mae, The Green and Yellow TV, Towa Tei, Lovedrug, Gran Ronde, The Servant, LCD Soundsystem, The Fatales, The Frames, Carla Bruni, Soft (omgYES), 65 Days of Static, Ulrich Schnauss, Love As Laughter, L'Altra, Tsunami Bomb, The Blow, The Sounds (*joygasm*), Giant Drag, Faultline (*swoon*), Hijack the Disco, and some more in there.

Of course I still have a vast slew of bands/albums that I still listen to on a regular basis, but it's nothing that hasn't been said by other people already. Though I'm damned if I don't still feel obligated to show love for my most cherished bands :\ I am such a friggin music nerd...

The Postal Service, Dntel, Radiohead, Beck, Aqualung, Phoenix, Death Cab for Cutie, M83, Cruiserweight (new album next tuesday!), The Dismemberment Plan, Snow Patrol, McLusky, Chris Clark, Coldplay, Lovage, Amon Tobin, The Flaming Lips, Vienna Teng, Zero 7, Daft Punk, aaaah graaah!! I can't stop......... I'm stopping... No more damn you!

Oh yeah, and Secef is also fucking metal. Check it. :D :!:

Dude, I put the M in metal...and maybe the t.

I'm not quite sure what that was supposed to mean...

...and your list reminded me of a couple bands I need to listen to some more, mainly Hijack the Disco and 65 days of static.

Right now I've got Zao's new album on repeat *drool*.

The two new albums I'm listening to are:

Anberlin- Never Take Friendship Personal (omg, it's rockin. Makes me think of Juliana Theory a little bit)
The Black Maria- Lead Us To Reason (pretty good for major debut, I'd heard some advances and some earlier songs, they seem to have progressed alot)

Albums I'm looking forward to:
The Mars Volta- Frances the Mute (I already have obtained it, and I love it, especially L'Via L'Viaquez)
Hot Hot Heat- Elevators (Liked everything so far, hopefully they'll make it even better)
I really love CS:GO's 64 tick servers.

I'm confused by someone who claims to like Hot Water Music and From Autumn to Ashes and yet hates emo.

Anyone Else??
