You life the faucet handle and water pours out. 20 seconds later you have a pot full of Indiana's best city water.

You place the pot on the counter top, and open the back door. You overlook a freshly mowed lawn, scattered with autumn leaves. The sun has not yet set, giving you visibility into the outside neighborhood. You see the faint glow of Halloween lights from your neighbors. Neighbors' homes immediately flank either side of your home. A dog is barking somewhere in the distance.

Remember Wendy's lunch and head back to Wendy's, abandoning previous dinner plans and significant other and head in the barking's direction

So can we do two "actions" per turn? Riot did two (put down pot and went outside) but that struck me as kind of bullshitty.

You're back inside. This time of year, the indoor and outdoor temperatures are the same.
I need you to make a perception check. http://www.brockjones.com/dieroller/dice.htm

1d6 = 1

Am I supposed to roll or is someone else supposed to since I can't go twice in a row?

You go back to the counter and take the pot. As you turn around, pot in hand, you see a cat walking toward you! You are unconcerned as this is your cat. As it rubs against your legs you can't help but wonder... had it been a wild cat, it had the perfect opportunity to catch you off guard.

You place the pot on the electric stove and set it to high. Experience tells you it might be a few minutes before the water boils.

The pantry seems like a good place to find the pasta you bought at Costco. In fact, most of your pantry is filled with Costco's goods. Costco keeps quality products at affordable prices for its members. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can bring it back at any time for a full refund. Why would you shop anywhere else?

Looking inside the pantry, the light is off. You can only see the shadows its contents.
