Having visible abs has very little to do with doing abdominal exercises, and a whole lot to do with how much body fat you have. Ab exercises are irrelevant if your abdominals are obfuscated by layers of fat. If you do weighted ab exercises you're going to increase the size of your abdominal muscles- UNDERNEATH THE FAT. It will just push the fat farther out. You will look fatter. Do you understand? To see abs, you must get your bodyfat down. Bodyfat melts away, out come the abs. It's like they bloom. Once you aren't a fat disgusting pig.

To make it even more awesome, males are typically predisposed to store fat in their abdominal region. Women are more prone to glute/leg area and arms. I'm at a point where I have definition pretty much everywhere and can feel a 6 pack but even at something like 12% body fat, there is only an outline at the top and oblique. No pack. I'm also not heavy enough to where cutting weight would be a good look for me. I had a 6 pack in high school without trying cause my metabolism was a bullet train. I also had no chest, back, 12" arms and my quads and hamstrings blurred into one toothpick.

Want a 6-pack? You need to make your diet the number one priority of your life unless you're a genetic He-Man (even He-Man probably carb cycled). I would always laugh when the guys at the university rec center would do 30 minutes of abs while talking about the party they were going to. They'd get better results just doing squats, deads and hanging leg raises and tightening their diet.

Since Chad is now our internet dating success story, does that mean this thread is going to be closed?

Let my success echo across the halls of the Conversation Cornucopia. When you've abandoned all romantic dreams and turned to the internet, you will find an equally damaged person also willing to settle.

Love is simply 01001100011011110111011001100101.

I am convinced that people who claim they are Bi are probably doing it for attention.

Case in point. Are you guys familiar with the travesty that is Otherkin/Furries? Remember Wolfen? We can all agree that these people more or less are either mentally unstable, developmentally challenged, bored, or just *have* to be different in some way because they can't handle dealing with actual people. They want to be accepted, but because they are so fucking weird they have to congregate to other people who are so fucking weird in order to fit in somewhere.

http://www.okcupid.com/match?keywords=o ... nly_text=1

I wish I had time to run some analytics on this so I could get some numbers, but people who say they are "Otherkin" is strongly correlated with the people who also list themselves as Bi, Gay, or something that isn't the ol' mundane "Straight."

Because that would be too normal.

These people are probably straight in all reality, but because no one of the opposite gender wants to fuck them, they have to keep their options open in what little community they have. I don't think there's sample bias on this either because Otherkin/Furries exist solely on the Internet and OKC is pretty much the place to go for Internet-savvy people.

Don't get me wrong, I don't give a shit if you're a dude and both suck mad dick and lay splicksplack on some tats. I want to be clear that I have no problem with people who aren't straight. What I can't stand is people who make outrageous claims or involve themselves in something retarded just for the attention which I believe is the case in 100% of the Otherkin/Furry community. I think the point that I'm trying to make is that I feel sorry for people who are actually bisexual because their demographic is wrought with people who are into Otherkin/Furry shit.

One guy put he's into " intelligence (not the brainy kind)." Oh.

You're spot on. Weird people find niche communities that accept them (for whatever reason) and will do whatever it takes to be different.

EDIT: I think the reasons you pointed out are what make many people think homosexuality is a choice. We all reject the notion that being gay/bi inherently makes you the bad kind of weird, therefore one likely explanation for this correlation is that these people are not naturally bi, but have made the choice to be.

"I've also discovered I'm Otherkin , one of the Sidhe residing in a human body. ... Well, I'm trans, there's that, I'm otherkin, I think that's perhaps even more of a private thing, since I have to pretend to be human, "

Oh, okay. She's just pretending to be a human.

Daddy issues are way more acceptable when the girls end up in porn. At least you can make a living doing porn.

"I'm a psionics student and instructor (psychic development), and a therianthrope. . I expect I'd be most happy with another otherkin, at least, if not another therian. I like vampires too (sanguinarian, psi-vamp, doesn't matter). Probably not so much so folks who aren't any of the above...it's just hard to relate."

Tell me about it. :\
