You're so right, anything popular is bound to be a failure.

its a directors overcompensation of himself by massive-sizing an ancient greece battle. if I wanted to know anything about it I would have read the original book.

all people want anymore is huge ridiculous visuals and a simple plotline

Fun fact: only 3 posts at IndyDDR.com contain the word "boop."

omg you're right again! Who wants to see a movie that's a good time? That's right, losers and your average stupid American. Oh, and those assholes who listen to Dragonforce. Any movie I see has to have a life changing story and a plot so complex that, uh, wait... What were we talking about again?

I'm so full of myself. :P

If a huge-ass, epic battle is a small thing, consider me a small person.

Complex, multi-faceted plots are interesting, but not always fun.

A good ass kicking is always fun. You probably didn't like Bruce Lee or Tony Jaa, did you. Communist.

haven't seen it yet, but I plan to.

I love complex plot lines and emotionally moving flicks...but if that's ALL I watched, I'd get tired of movies real quick. Sometimes, you just wanna sit back, relax, and watch a movie...not have to excercise your brain to figure out a massive plot web.
