Got legit excited but then I looked at the career opportunities on their site and it's just a bunch of Sharepoint bullshit jobs. Who the fudge uses Sharepoint? God damn.

They coincidentally have a software tester position open which is literally what Chad does. I smell an opportunityyyyy! I imagine they would pay less than whatever $55k+ Chad is making now soooooo

What's that new company that is building a headquarters in downtown Fort Wayne? I'd like to peep their jobs once they move in.

EDIT: Nevermind, found it, Ash Brokerage.

Good luck! If you get accepted and decide to come back to Fort Wayne you can hang out with Riot, Chad, and myself when we're in town if you're not too cool enough. All the usual DDR places have gotten rid of their shit so if you're hankering for some DDR you're going to have to go to seedy bowling alleys or hell maybe Lazer X still has their 5th mix.

I also finally bowled my first 300 game last Thursday (over the years about a dozen 290+ games choking in the 10th frame), I can handle seedy bowling alleys.

Also, I'm definitely not cool. If you recall I spent many Fridays and Saturdays in high school going to an arcade to get sweaty on a Japanese dancing game and lose to older nerds at MvC2 and 3rd Strike.

SDP I was banned from Putt-Putt and never got to really meet anyone so I figured you were at Putt-Putt picking up all the goth girls and getting your dick wet. I'm glad you liked Third Strike, it is the best fighting game.

Grats on bowling a 300! That's pretty cool.

I was never into goth but I did own a couple pairs of jnco jeans in 6th grade! There was a weird dichotomy of preppy kids like me and hot topic "alt goth sk8r" kids but it many friendships were forged over AAAs and suicide runs.

Mark banned everyone.

Yeah, DDR really does bring different types of folks together. You have your furries, pedophiles, goths, jocks, and japanophiles. Nowadays you just have your grown-ass men who are too nostalgic to get away.

Did you do anything to celebrate your 300?

Actually SDP is the perfect person to settle this bet:

Which is more challenging, a AAA on Max 300 or a 300 in bowling?

AAA on Max 300, easily. SDP hasn't AAA'd Max 300.

I can't speak for the amount of time he has spent playing bowling but I do know he's probably spent a shit load of time playing DDR.

I flagged Max 300 but never AAA'd it.

I bowled all 4 years in high school and was on University of Oregon's team so arguably I've put more hours into competitive bowling than I have DDR.

Considering there can be way more variation in lane condition and oil pattern in different bowling centers (more so than different DDR machine conditions), I'm not sure they're comparable.

Say you're playing on the same lane in bowling and the same machine in DDR. Which is harder?

You know, Pokebis, I feel bad for you because you weren't around when DDR was in its heyday and you had tons of people in your city actively playing and you kind of sort of got to get acquainted with them.

Where did you first learn of DDR and which arcade, if any, did you regularly play at?
