Haha... yeah, I know. I've browsed eBay extensively trying to get good deals on equipment, but unfortunately many people don't want to ship internationally, and even when they will I usually get quoted around $40 - $70 for shipping. At that markup I may as well buy domestically and be jealous of the people in the US who can get it cheaper. But then you have people listing
stuff like this... what?
One thing I seem to remember is that it was more expensive for me to buy the WIC-2T cards than it was to get the 1721 routers themselves. If I were to buy them right now, it looks like I'd be set back ¥4,900 + shipping for each one from Yahoo Japan Auctions or $45 with shipping for each one from eBay.

I dunno... outside of dabbling a bit with it back in high school, I've never really played CS, but I just spent that past 20 minutes watching some of his videos. I just kinda got pulled in.
Hey Riot, I had no idea that you were that much into CS. Good work.

It must just be a me thing. Frag videos in general (especially ones that use hitscan weapons) aren't that exciting. I'd put them on the same tier as anime music videos.

We're hanging out. People will be playing games. There will be a couple of pointless contests on that you may choose to participate in if you wish. Food will be eaten. Drinks will be dranken. A grand time will be had by all.

To each his own, I suppose. Some people like frag vids; some people don't. Some people like AMVs; some people don't. Some people like me; some people don't.

Potter I'm glad you showed up and I'm sorry that my internet-self is a poor reflection of my personal-self. Sometimes it's difficult to expunge my witty banter on the fly so I have to resort to the low hanging fruit as it were.
It kind of sucks doing shots with a good chunk of people at a party in one room while the other half of the party is not drinking and socializing through the vidja games. In a full-on party scenario you can act like a goofball at all times but if I am buzzed and hanging around, say, Brandon or ChocoboJoe, then I have to be on my best behavior since they're off the sauce and cannot possibly comprehend my Merkisms. I don't know, half the fun of drinking in a fratty / house party scenario is being able to let go of inhibitions and say ridiculously awesome things with people who in turn are not putting up a serious front and who are more willing to participate in an Eiffel Tower.
With that being said--
Things I should have done this weekend:
- Eat clean
- Play DDR
- Bone some fabulous faces
- Buy groceries
- Defend my Baron of the Bemani Bordello title
- Mack on some honies
Things I didn't do this weekend:
- Eat clean
- Play DDR
- Bone some fabulous faces
- Buy groceries
- Defend my Baron of the Bemani Bordello title
- Mack on some honies
What I ended up doing:
- Eat buttered chicken wings and Mexican food
- Play Beet Beet and DramMania
- Went to Brian's party (Baron event did not happen)
- Drank a handful of shots in Brian's kitchen with some people
- Chatted up a bunch of dudes
- Saw some people who I had not seen in a while
- Lost a couple games of Pac-Man
- Made fun of Riot
- Hurt some feelings
- Made people feel great about themselves
- Beat Chad in Super Puzzle Money Exchanger
- Set up Stepmania on Chad's DDR cabinet
- Watched Chad play Dark Souls
- Slept in a bed
- Watched Riot do Marvel combos
- Drove a lot
- Watched some football
- Did not watch Dexter
- Ate some breadsticks my ladyfriend made
All in all a pretty good weekend.

I had a hamburger and fries yesterday.
I'm down a pound this morning.
Come at me, water weight.
I really love CS:GO's 64 tick servers.
