So many songs are shared between all the remaining games these days.
And I have to disagree or not believe in your god. A lot of old beatmania music barely qualifies as music. It's like a baby learning to walk...on a sample pad.

We're talking strictly 5-key Beet, right? Not old school IIDX?
Because old school IIDX is kinda good IMO lol -- it had a lot of like house and funk and I like the nostalgia it brings me

My question is this. Why are Slake's albums so good and his original songs for Bemani so fubar? Seriously, I want an explanation for this.

Yes. I was talking about old, 5-key beatmania. I'm amazed the game was able to take off featuring garbo tracks like that. I guess people were really hungry for a new game concept and were willing to look past random epileptic musings on a Casio keyboard to see the potential.
