Ebaum gets e-bombed

I think we all know of Eric Baumen's site and the profit he brings in from stealing content from other sites and taking the credit for it. Well he recently
stole and image from a
YTMND and thought that it would go unnoticed. It did not however, and an
announcement was made to make an attack on the ebaumsworld forums. A
whole bunch of people against this incident registered to
attack on the said date and soon Eric Baumen
closed his forums.
What are people's thoughts on this? Do you think he got what he deserved? Do you think it was unjust? Discuss.

Well, I have to admit that my first thought when reading this was --- how many people here have never stolen content off the internet??
YTMND itself is filled with people stealing images, music, etc. from various places, isn't it?
I guess you could argue though, that most of us don't really PROFIT from this kind of thing like he does...

1: YTMND is not plastered in ads
2: Yes, people do steal images but usually they put it on their own hosting.
3: They also don't alter the image
4: They also don't replace watermarks with their own site watermark
PS: 3 & 4 are illegal under DMCA when an image is watermarked

I wouldnt mind him hosting content, but putting a logo on something thats not yours is stealing.
He deserved it.

I hate Ebalums, stupid pop ups break through all my blockers. There's some anti-Ebalums song on Newgrounds too. I'm surprised they didn't try to team up against it.
All in all I think it's pretty funny, they should do it again.
