animated gifs suck, counter strike sucks, super street fighter IV is vastly inferior to king of fighters 12, and starcraft II is average at best

Final Fantasy XIII has just about the best writing of any video game I've ever played, too.
The only thing that tops it is Dragon Warrior on the NES.

Re: [Grubb's] Random Thoughts of the Day
Remember when the lead singer of XTC stopped touring and making music because he had hardcore stage fright? haha what a fag. Way to throw away something that billions of people can only dream about.
Do you know who the main inspiration of XTC was? The Beatles. Have you not listened to XTC vs. Adam Ant by They Might Be Giants? They say it right in the lyrics.
^^^ I absolutely love that picture Riot

For some reason I got a huge hankering to go bowling.
We should do a sweaty nerdy indyddr bowling event. We can go to Stardust Bowl and include le ITG kiddos.

They didn't actually stop making music until a good 20 years later when the band broke up.Merk wrote:Remember when the lead singer of XTC stopped touring and making music because he had hardcore stage fright?
And the reason they stopped touring is because the lead singer has hardcore anxiety and he was on Valium for it, but his bitchy (ex-)wife made him stop taking it cold turkey and he REALLY freaked out.

Yeah that sounds about right, I wasn't completely sure on the fine details. I like XTC but they really, really hate religion and it kinda gets annoying after a while. We get it, you hate Christianity, sing about drugs or something please - that would be super, super band.chocobojoe wrote:They didn't actually stop making music until a good 20 years later when the band broke up.Merk wrote:Remember when the lead singer of XTC stopped touring and making music because he had hardcore stage fright?

If people want to go bowling just make a thread, a facebook event, and make it happen.

I guess it was 18 years later, my bad. And he might still be married to that woman but I can't figure it out cause it says he got married in 1998 but those events happened in 1982? So IDK.Merk wrote:Yeah that sounds about right, I wasn't completely sure on the fine details.
