That's a pretty obscure reference at the end. Well done Disney.

Potter, I forgot about changing the fstop since I was on S mode for just shutter speed. I guess since I've always been at 2.5 that's why a lot of my tree shots are not very sharp? Should I up it to like 10 or 11 or something if trying to take a wide, sharp, environmental shot? Now I'm on M mode where I can set both, hopefully that helps. Auto focus shifting works perfect when not recording, but when I hit record sometimes the lens either doesn't focus on where I'm trying to touch or it takes forever (or the subject has to move out of the way for it to focus on the other part). I guess my options are set to AE for AF/AE Lock but I'm not sure what to do with that. AF/AE Lock Hold is off, Pre AF is off (should that be on you think?), Direct Focus Area off, Focus Priority On (is that it?), Shutter AF on (what's this do?), AF assist lamp On (dunno what the lamp is).
Also when trying to take a picture in any mode but Intelligent Auto, I would get things focused right but then when I took the picture it would be way blurry. Sounded like the shutter speed was really low so maybe that was it, but wasn't sure of all the settings that went into keeping it from getting blurry with any movement at all from the subject or just the force of my pushing the button.
Still learning =)
