i had a feeling you were partially asian first time i saw you at joe's house. no suprise here, i can sometimes even point out where an asian person is from just by subtle differences in facial structure.Pheadra wrote:Im half chinese yo!
Thanks! I love my clevage piercings a lot too. Getting them pierced took like .2 seconds, marking them so that they were even is another story.
But yea, Im bi-racial. Most people dont see the asian in me until I tell them that Im 1/2 asain, then they see it.

My computer table desktop (not to be confused with my main desk at home or my desks at school).
In order (left to right):
- Firefox on Windows 2000 SP4
- Netscape 3 on Windows for Workgroups 3.11
- Mozilla 1.7 on Linux

If you are no longer connected to the internet, you need to apply more wax to your modem: it'll make it go faster.
If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.

what drivers are you using for video? scitech's snap video driver is great but the 'newest' version requires registration after 30 days...forced me to uninstall os/2 sadly...if you happen to come across anything to *help* that do tell
i installed apple rhapsody dr2 on a box today...doesn't work very well...requires ancient video cards like ati mach 64 or a savage s3 (no nvidia support at all D: ) and the vga driver is awesome in B&W...not really though...so it's back to OS/2 slowly

I believe the system has an S3 Virge/DX in it. Should be supported, but I didn't take the time to go hunt up drivers for OS/2, and Warp 3 didn't come with anything, so it was completely unaccelerated (that and the 60Hz vertical refresh hurted mine eyes). What's a good site for OS/2 drivers and apps? I haven't really used the system much beyond installing the OS (from floppies!) for novelty purposes.
I'm also attempting to acquire a copy of BeOS and NT 3.51. I know someone with NT 3.51 (a legit copy, too), but I need to convince him to dig it out and make me a copy (It may be on floppies). I believe he has some ancient copy of BeOS too, but I'm not sure on that one.

For BeOS look for BeOS Max...it's a free download of the last version of BeOS (personal edition was free) packaged with a bunch of apps & compatibile with P4s (the origional image requires some sort of patching...don't remember what)
as for OS/2, the main sites i found for stuff were these:
http://projects.netlabs.org/ they have a win32 api layer kinda like wine called odin that works fairly well...they also have alsa sound drivers that work great with my sb live
http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.ws ... &loc=en_US S3 Video Device Driver for OS/2 version 7.00.22
http://www.os2.cz they have a bunch of apps and stuff to download...a lot of them are out of date though if you google for more recent versions
http://www.mozilla.org/ports/os2/ mozilla for os/2...i found on ecomstation i had to delete the ibm web browser before mozilla would work
http://www.innotek.de/products_e.html font renderer..works with firefox/mozilla only really
there's other stuff...best way to find os/2 stuff is to google and add os/2 and download or os2 and download to your search.

If you don't feel like going searching for BeOS I have BeOS Developers Edition on my FTP and a burnt copy of BeOS Max I could rip for you.
If you want them PM me your IP and I'll give you access to the FTP.
(for the record I have no idea why it links FTP.)
