You're entitled to your opinion, of course, but I personally find that said monk chanting in ambient noise to be pretty good background music while I'm studying, sleeping, etc. Oh well. Your loss (in my opinion, which I'm also entitled to), but I'd recommend you just not listen to it if you don't like it.THE REAL DEAL wrote:it sounds like a female monk chanting retarded noises to ambience. its irritating and lame.
Enya, and not really a discussion of how awesome she is

at least get it right..it sounds like a girl with classical singing training singing over classical music, in which case I like classical singing, and classical music, so therefore, Enya=Music God. :-p. It's definately not the type of music i'd go out driving cranked up really loud doing 90 on the interstate, but it's some of the best music to either just sit and listen to when you're kind of stressed or doing homework, or like MonMotha said, sleeping.

I like Wild Child. *shrugs* I guess it has to do w/ spring break '04 and being stuck in the car for 4 days. I read a 400 page book and kept listening to one enya cd over and over again, it ended up being like my personal soundtrack to the book.CgSquall wrote:Anybody have a favorite song(if you listen to Enya?)

I've heard some of her stuff, but I couldn't identify it or anything if I heard it again. I liked what I heard, though. It seems like good meditation music, or in my case, good music to practice my swordplay. Namely bushido or Tai Chi, since the object is to be at peace.
I listen to rock, and I love it, but let's face it. It's hard to meditate or 'let go' of your mind while gettin' into a good song.
