Re: UGHHHHH

I get the hot babes thing, but what if I do smith machine quarter squats? So there's less shear stress, and the quads are overloaded. That will help my fix my hamstring imbalance. Plus maybe I don't go to the gym to get stronger but to relieve stress, and moving lots of plates helps me do that.

Re: UGHHHHH

It's one thing to round decimals but adding "mround(5,...)" or whatever to every block was annoying. Also, what's wrong with quarter squats? Maybe that's what I want to get good at.

Re: See you space cowboy.....

So who is the better athlete: The runner that has the world record. or The Olympian with the most gold medals. They both suck. One of them is a has-been that might have done well just one time, and the other is a has-been that luckily hit his prime during the optimal 4-year window. Pit them against...

Re: soft mat preservation

I wouldn't say i'm an expert but i did own the soft mats (1st generation ones back in 2000). try to use them on hard surfaces and stick them down. Using them on carpet, i found you slip more and you tend to split the layers of the mat. I also found, when you fold the mat, it does affect the play ar...

Re: Clearing misconceptions about Australia/America

Let me help clarify http://danhdesigns.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/project_patriotic_usa_flag_map.png The areas in blue have a higher concentration of uneducated city dwellers and petty criminals that throw around racial slurs as if it were the 1970s. They demand that other people pay for their r...

Re: Noblesville just got some more ITG!

USB slots are functional again. They weren't working for the last 1.5 years (Nov 2011). Even the ones on the motherboard wouldn't power up. They ended up instaling a PCI usb card as a fix.

Added new packs:
-Pendulum
-Tachyon Delta
-SPEEEDCOOOORE 2
-SPEEEDCOOOORE 3

Re: Eatin' sweet potato fries and gettin' buff

My lower belly is still the main area I'd like to target.... I guess I will try to work in more crunches. Just want to bring this point back: Regular flat ground crunches are a pretty bad exercise. Some of the variations Dave listed are much better floor workouts for your abs. Dave mentioned this s...

Why not get a monitor that we've all grown to love and adore? A 30 inch CRT.

Re: Eatin' sweet potato fries and gettin' buff

As I mentioned before, weight is not a good indicator of progress. There are too many factors like water retention, blood plasma, bone density, and muscle mass as you've mentioned. Didn't you say it's only been a week? One lb/week is realistic, but body weight can fluctuate daily by a couple pounds,...

He sure did, although he didn't enter. He doesn't care much to compete. He never did well in tournaments in the past ( Fort Rapids 4 ), and he doesn't like having one set to get used to a new machine in a new environment, and having to re-warm up over and over. His idea of a tournament (which he's d...

Fort Rapids 7

This tournament was June 28-30th. It was unique in that it had 2 divisions: lower difficulty (9s-14s) and upper difficulty (14s-19s). Cost was $30 per division, 33 entered lower, and 21 entered upper. The top four from each would play round robin with 12s-16s to determine an overall winner, though t...
