It was a toss up between here and General DDR. I chose here because you subtly (as subtle as you ever are...like a brick in the face!) mentioned a specific location. In general, News is site news. This is not site news.

I'm sure they're banking on the same sort of mentality that goes along with mail-in rebates. They know that some people will fail to return the product just as many people fail to file their rebate claims. They can offer a very enticing offer that they will fulfill, but they still make money off the...

I had been playing periodically for a little while until about a one week period in January when I took it upon myself to completely fill-in my normal scorecard on pop'n navy for pop'n 8. I threw in a few hypers as well, and in the end I ended up probably playing a good 10+ hours that week. It was a...

Thanks to all. Your appreciation is, uh...appreciated! :D Brian, your avay is the best thing my tender, young eyes have ever seen. Thank you, and never change (your avay). I'm glad you like it...but I probably will change it up from time to time. BTW, in case you didn't know, that's Nyami from pop'n...

I've seen other auctions for this on Yahoo! Auctions Japan. A previous one I saw had additional pictures of the machine actually on. The stage design is rather cool in that the arrow part of the design on the panels is actually transparent so that you can see the colored light tubes inside. It was a...

Well, I'm not MonMotha, but this topic is more appropriate for either Locations or General DDR Discussion because it is about DDR and not just generalized socialization. Conversation Cornucopia does not constitute news simply because it appears at the top of the forum listings. The Cornucopia origin...

Re: Xbox Live
Hi, This is RevenGafro24 (please don't flame me this time). I am back from my long retirement of DDR. I thinks this forum needs and xbox live thread. Ho, please do not lock this thread. . . for it is its first. I don't remember what happened last time, but don't feel like you have to set yourself u...

I still see Polly socially from time-to-time, but I don't think she's much into DDR anymore. She's also been quite busy with school and now starting a business. I know she'd make an occasional rare appearance here in the time since the old Yahoo! Group and I suppose that's still possible, but for th...

As an aside, I also noticed that your postcount is no longer displayed beneath your name, assumingly in another effort to promote quality over quantity. Yup. You are very observant and thinking right along the same lines I am. In fact, I might remove post count from the memberlist table as well so ...

Pirates! Nah...just kidding. Yeah, I've definitely still got all that stuff stored. In fact, what appears on the site is usually scaled down for bandwidth reasons, so I have all the original, higher-quality too. I actually have some stuff that no one's seen yet. Some of it even I haven't seen. I'm g...

Hmm...a bug! MonMotha or I will have to take a look at that. I think I have an idea of what's going on. Chances are it's only displaying incorrect information (especially since the rank field is blank) and that the limiting/ranking system itself isn't messed up. As for your other question: I'm not 1...

Absolutely! The former photo albums will be restored. They represent our history...much of which I am quite fond of. Plus, those old-timers here may remember that IndyDDR started as the photo album. I started taking pictures of the group meetings back in 2001 and many people wanted me to share them....

The idea behind the post limits are simply to get people to think before they post. So it's sorta like spending money. I want to attach some sort of value to posting so that people will in turn want to attach value to their posts. It's something I'm trying to encourage people to make wise choices an...

Post limit information
Some of you may have already noticed (since it's actually been there all day) that we have included an information message at the bottom of posting and reply forms as seen here: http://www.indyddr.com/images/misc/postlimitinfo.png This will inform you of your current rank and the number of posts you...
