Yeah, I greatly prefer the arcade version over the home (precisely due to the moving drum problem). That probably won't stop me from picking up the home ones as soon as I complete my Beatmania collection though... And while loosly on the topic of weird ports of music games, I have a version of Pop'N...

So how is it a World Tour if you're staying in America? =P (Though I suppose you could get to Canada while you're up there...) We have a DDR Extreme machine here, but I haven't tried it out yet. I've been having too much fun with the Beatmania IIdX 12 Happy Sky, Session Freaks V, Pop'N Music Red, In...

Good luck! がんばってください! I have a pretty good grasp on the grammar, but I really need to work on my vocabulary and kanji skills. When talking to the people in my office, I usually get the basic gist of what they're saying, (and nine times out of ten I can get my point across), but I have trouble with d...

I came so close to buying an ASC today...
This morning I biked over to Koide for some 12th Style arcadey goodness, and was really dissapointed in how much I suck at the game (I can barely pass difficulty 3 songs). After that I hit up all the videogame shops and second hand stores I could find looking for a IIdX controller and games, but cou...

I got to play 12th Style: Happy Sky in an arcade today. Since I suck at Beatmania, I can't really make any insightful comments though. My player ID card is super awesome though, once I get access to a scanner I'll post a picture. I somehow managed to full combo Era (nostalmix) on beginner, and there...

What I'm wondering, though, is why nobody showed up to play with me? I mean, I posted it on the Gettin' Together section of IndyDDR for Pete's sake (not to be confused with an alcoholic beverage)! Shouldn't that mean that people would meet me there? Hey, if you had waited a couple months I could ha...

Seeing as neither DS or PSP has dual joysticks, the controls will have to be even more simplified. The controls on the DS will probably be similar to Pac N' Roll (also made by Namco) where there will be a virtual trackball on the bottom screen that you "roll" with the stylus. To say that I'm lookin...

I bought the Dreamcast keyboard just for PSO (Typing of the Dead was a nice bonus though). Played on the Gamecube for awhile, then sold my GC since it was the only game I was playing on it. It's fun for awhile, but I get bored of it in about a month so I have to leave it alone until I get interested...

Jesus, I never said that it runs as well on a high end PC than it does on the Xbox, in fact, quite the opposite: It goes without saying that it will look better on a higher end PC It does however look better on the Xbox than it would on my PC, since I can't afford a good computer. I'm not even sure ...
