If Shaffer is still being sketchy, I would highly suggest contacting Andamiro USA about finding another ditributor in the area or one that's as close as possible where you can get a Zero dedicab. Another route is to contact Arturo on Pumphaven, but I'd highly suggest AM USA first. I've heard some od...

What is the mall's address? I'd like to hit this arcade once or twice before the tournament comes around.

PIU shirts from Andamiro?! Hell yeah, this tournament gets better and better every time I check the thread. I'd have to say that if the bar is not allowed at all would not sit well with many people. I personally could do it, but I'm not sure of very many others who would even want to attempt most of...

Well, I assume since the machine will be on Free Play on Friday and Saturday pending your entry fee, I'd be apt to believe that it will be off. If it's on, do whatever song you'd like as your first song and stage break will be forced off.

I don't see much to be upset about, at least you guys in Bloomington have been on teh cutting edge of mixes that have come out. Zero is a much deserved improvement over X2, and that's not saying most of it has left. In fact, most of X2 is on Zero (including new charts for some songs and the inclusio...

Oh, and Brian, do you see any significant changes that would have to made to the rules if/when we get Zero? Well, from what I know Zero plays just like Exceed 1/2 except with the obvious new songs and omission of quite a few old ones. Remix station is still fair game for the later brackets, especia...

Just to let everyone know, there is a chance that the machine will be upgraded to Zero BEFORE the tournament; I just informed them that this would be a good idea, and not to wait until after the tournament if it's possible to get it sooner. :!: :!: I'll keep you guys informed... YAY :D Seconded tha...

MC Frontalot reference, correct? There is no random difficulty setting in Pump. I imagine it would be something as simple as a difficulty from a hat, or a javascript which will generate the difficulty for you. The only provision I would have on the random difficulty it to leave out Normal mode and o...

OK, I know you guys are chomping at the bit for some rules. Here's my idea in a nutshell for the tech tourney; comments welcome: 1 - standard double elimination with NCAA style brackets 2 - qualifying round is ANY song on any difficulty, placement based on score (Nightmare players take note!) 3 - r...

Agreed. I can't tell you how many new players I've seen go into the dark recesses of battle mode, only to do miserably because they don't know what's going on and never go back to playing Pump again.

In seeing that this is an independent arcade owned by a guy that seems to actually care about the gaming community, has anyone ever considered mentioning Zero to him? It would be damn lucritive to have the tournament on a Zero machine since it would ultimately be the first (or tied for the first) Un...
