Apparently the CS guys goofed on that one. The Desert Eagle is a HUGE handgun, and magnum rounds have an insane amount of recoil. You'd have one hell of a time trying to keep that thing steady, and actually hit your target while you're moving and firing at the same time. of course, the amount of da...

If I was strickly sharp shooting, I would probably use a high powered, bolt action rifle. I don't remember all of the rifles off hand, so I can't really say which one. However, when I know I'm likely going to wind up in mid to close range combat, I compromise and use a semi-auto. Bolt actions are.....

Unless that person is posing a significant threat to the cops life, or the life of another person. In some situations, a knife is just as dangerous, if not more so than a gun. The same goes for any kind of weapon, it's all about circumstance. There isn't really any black and white, cut and dry answ...

This is Japan you're talking about though.. the country with the smallest crime rate.... I agree though.. if a cop doesn't have the upper hand, is someone going to listen to them when they say "drop the weapon" or are they just going to go ahead and do what they're doing, knowing the cop can't shoo...

I prefer the semi-auto scoped rifle. I forget the formal name, Commando something. It suits my style well. It's semi-auto, so it can work reasonably well as an assault weapon, but it really shines when I bring up the scope and drop someone with a headshot from a couple hundred feet away. Of course,...

There are one place in the world where police dont carry firearms, Britan. Which has a booming crime rate and growing violent crime. Well I know that's wrong. I'll give you some proof later when I'm not at school and bored as fuck. Actually, he's right. I did some research on this a while back. Cri...

I don't see how you guys are complaining about the acting/lyrics to the movie. None of you could do better, none of you write or direct or even act in movies. All you all do is watch them then try to be critical to make yourself feel important. Half of you probably didn't even form your own opinion...

Tazer. Thanks, GG bye Most officers dont carry tazers =\ either they arent cleared for them, or their department cant afford them. And as i said before, they are not garunteed to work, peperspray is even less likely to incapacitate a person. You cant just dismiss my arguments with the sweep of your...

Agreed on both parts. A cop should never shoot anyone unless they are being shot at. They are trained to take down people in "nonviolent" (in other words, not wounding them more than "Ouch, that hurt" for more than a day or two) Your in a hostage situation, a man with a knife is holding a 10 year o...

My quick 2 cents... Using your gun should always be the very LAST line of defense for a cop; sounds to me like the guy in this situation (the article from the original post) did the right thing. I'm strongly opposed to tagging sex offenders and keeping registries of them; it's a blatant civil right...
