BTW Secef, you don't seem to post scores to PNN anymore. What gives? Funny you mention that. See... for the last year, I've lived in a room that was the size of a walk-in closet, so sadly I haven't had the space to play Pop'n. However, I just moved into a new apartment where I have plenty of room t...

And if you think this song is fun in DDR...you should try it in pop'n! :D Love Love Sugar [9-line] is fine and dandy. Love Love Sugar [Hyper], on the otherhand... that's more like utter rage and frustration. It made me mad on PNM8, now it has come back to haunt me in PNM12. *cries* Regardless, good...

A special deal for frequent players would make coming to the arcade more appealing, definitely. I mean, I come in as often as I can already (which isn't all that often right now since I'm temporarily living at my girlfriend's house down near Salem), but the amount I have to pay also kind of makes me...

I will happily share my syringe controller with all. Coincidently, this practice is safe and healthy.

From Bemanistyle.com, which in turn got this news from Orange Lounge Radio...

"DDR SUPERNOVA - The PS2 entry. Given the title, it could very well be an honest-to-goodness arcade port of the game. This is to be released September 13th, 2006."

Heeey, good job on those. The first AA is always a landmark achievement. ^_^

Furthermore, to nearly get an SDG on your first AA is even more remarkable. I don't think I've ever heard of such a case before. Once again, nicely done. :o

The Pump it Up Zero machine in the mall at Great-X-Scape is like 2nd highest for amount of tokens taken in per week. I'm responsible for putting about 100 tokens into it per week myself. Come to think of it... I've probably invested enough money into PIU and DDR to at least buy a machine or two. Ee...

Does Paranoia (just regular Paranoia) have a lot of double stepping? Cuz I tried Paranoia at the Union the other day, and I ended up having to use the bar....and I wasn't sure if I was supposed to double step, or I was just doing it because of the song speed. I think you were just doing it because ...

I've passed Absolute on Heavy...I really like that one for some reason. Maybe I just have this attachment to crossovers. Who knows. Mike and I have done Tears together...I think...or maybe it was True that we did. We've done either one of the two or both. More than likely I haven't passed either ye...

<--- Kyler, in case you didn't know. I'm surprised no one has mentioned Absolute Heavy yet. There are a lot of good crossovers to practice in that song. I'm sure you can beat that song, but you might not know that nearly the entire chart can be done without double-stepping AND without facing ...

Some post-tourney practice today. Managed to accomplish some neat stuff for myself: S - Empire of the Sun CZ (2 greats, 2 bads) A - Hi-Bi CZ. Stage Break... Off? On? It wasn't on the first song. 23 misses. B - Witch Doctor CZ. First song. ~55 misses I had some other random scores I liked that I can'...

I had a lot of fun at this tournament. The low local turnout kinda sucked, but it's understandable. I myself almost wasn't there at all since my girlfriend was pretty sick the whole time. This weekend marked the first time I've seen people a hell of a lot better than me play PIU. For that alone, it ...

Quick question... I don't recall if this was addressed somewhere in the thread, but does your qualifier have to be passed? Like say... I play a song on first stage and technically fail during part of a song, but I continue to play and get an A. Does that still work for my qualifier, or not?

So yeah... that was random. I'm not feeling 100% today since I was up until 5am this morning doing homework, but I went and played a little PIU anyway. Beat of the War 2 CZ (17) - A with 56 misses (mostly in the beginning). Completely sight-read to boot. However, it was on the first stage, so... yea...
