nBIBmnReaRE Not going to lie, that place looks kinda lame. I don't even remember the last time I went bowling, but it apparently wasn't awesome enough to be remembered. *shrug* Just not interested in it. Until arcades magically stop dying off in popularity, (or Brian and Chad begin charging admissi...

Re: Welcome SailorFlora to indyDDR
So you just wrote a couple of paragraphs trying to make a point and then end your post saying that your point doesn't matter? Oh, is that what I did? Not at all. I was expecting you to try to argue your opinion more. Just wanted you to know that I disagreed with it. How the hell is that saying my p...

Re: Welcome SailorFlora to indyDDR
Hmm... He makes the argument that we have no obligation to the future generation which is all well and good but just because there is no obligation that should not mean that it's amoral to have kids. You can turn the argument around and say that we have no obligation to the planet or any other spec...

Re: Welcome SailorFlora to indyDDR
Right, it is a voluntary movement. But I'll get to that later. I need to address something first. By the very nature of reproduction means that those born don't have a choice in the matter. No assumptions there. And what about the instances of abuse and neglect? I'm sure those things don't bring hap...

Re: Welcome SailorFlora to indyDDR
You should kill yourself because you are hurting the planet and because guilt guilt guilt guilt guilt guilt No, killing yourself won't help. Increasing human deaths will not improve population density. Many people are advocating an increase in the death rate to reduce human population numbers. Howe...

Re: Welcome SailorFlora to indyDDR
Nah, I'd be content to just let my genes end with me. But, yeah, humans are over-running the planet. If things continue as they are, the population will balloon unchecked while also slowly starving themselves and other species to death because of fewer resources. Would it surprise you that I agree w...

Re: Welcome SailorFlora to indyDDR
Not without considerable cost at least for tubals. Vasectomies are relatively simpler, both literally and in a societal sense. Surgeries involving female bits are more risky, complicated, and expensive because it's going into a body cavity. Not to mention that some doctors place on women this arbitr...

Re: Welcome SailorFlora to indyDDR
It's because I have the forgone conclusion that I have some useless organs and want to do away with them permanently. Mandatory sterilization is okay in theory, but would be impossible to implement. Personally, I'd just want to start with taking away the government incentive to reproduce. Fat chance...

Re: Welcome SailorFlora to indyDDR
For the record I was pretty happy about the free birth control legislation that passed yesterday! It'll raise my insurance but seriously it's cheaper in the long run since condoms are fucking expensive especially if you bone down all day every day. Well, not only that, but it's also WAAAAAY cheaper...
