Re: Round 1 Jefferson Mall (Louisville, KY) - Winter 2018

Reduces the need for parking? If anything its less accessible as it’s all paid parking. (Boss Battle Games decided against relocating to Circle Centre because of this.) Fair point, but you're also paying to park in a densely packed business district. And I believe in some cases you can get your par...

Re: DAVE&BUSTERS

I'm assuming that in 5 years, our only public dance machines will be the Laser Flash ITG and the PIU Infinity at Latitude. Those could even be gone by then for all we know. 3 and a half years later and we still have quite a few around. ITG is gone now, but Main Event was able to keep Infinity. Boss...

Re: Round 1 Jefferson Mall (Louisville, KY) - Winter 2018

To be fair to Circle Centre, it being downtown reduces the need for parking.

What do you mean by redevelop? Do you mean specifically for Circle Centre? Because if they put it in Castleton or Greenwood it shouldn't need any more work than the other locations.

Re: DAVE&BUSTERS

Just went there Wednesday. No DDR (shocker) or PIU still.

I'd say there's a slight chance they get XX as D&B seems to like having at least one dance game per location, but obviously don't hold your breath.

Re: Round 1 Jefferson Mall (Louisville, KY) - Winter 2018

Don't we meet all of those in at least one of our malls? I'm sure Castleton covers all of those, but they'd be competing with not just D&B and Main Event, but now also Boss Battle Games (who I imagine wouldn't be too happy about Round1 moving in right after them). Assuming they move into the Sears s...

Re: DAVE&BUSTERS

I'll sometimes stop in to see what they have when I go to Main Event. Last I saw they didn't really have anything that Main Event didn't aside from Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots and a simulator thing. Plus, they don't have DDR or Pump. Now that Boss Battle Games is moving to Castleton, I might check it o...

Re: Round 1 Jefferson Mall (Louisville, KY) - Winter 2018

I remember a few years back seeing a list of guidelines that Round 1 used for determining where to open new locations and seeing that Indianapolis wouldn’t be a good fit sadly so this may be the best shot at us being able to go to one without the insane cost of going to the Chicago area. The only r...

Re: Boss Battle Games

Haven't ever been there since I never have a good reason to go over there. The new location is hella convenient with Main Event around the corner. And if D&B ever gets DDR A (lol) there's that.

Re: Sears closings

And now the Glendale Macy's is closing: https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.indystar.com/amp/2500958002 I think this is an interesting site for a Round1. They may not want it since it's not a traditional mall, but it's near Broad Ripple. IMO it's definitely a better choice than Castleton, since there's...

Re: Sears closings

From what I've read Sears tends to sell their stores and lease them from the new owners. Not sure if that would happen here though.

Re: Round 1 Jefferson Mall (Louisville, KY) - Winter 2018

Main Event seems to be doing fine. Probably not super successful, though. Dave & Busters doesn't seem to care. Latitude had a shitty owner. The only other ones I know of are X-Scape/Incredible Pizza (doomed from the start by being located in Lafayette Square Mall) and Gameworks, which was always mor...

Re: Tilt Studio (Circle Centre)

I think Round1 will look into it. Whether they'll actually move in there is a different story. I think it's a better location than Castleton or Greenwood though. You have all the people who live downtown and in the surrounding neighborhoods, plus anyone who's already there anyway for work, shopping,...

Re: Tilt Studio (Circle Centre)

Well, Carson's is closing. Not sure how it will affect Tilt, but it's at best no effect, and that's if they get something in there quickly. If it ends up becoming ground level retail/restaurant space and office space the rest, nothing will stay open in the mall besides I guess the movie theater (whi...

Re: Let's meet Diamondback1996

Might be able to do something in the next couple weeks. Main Event is an option, but I believe we have DDR again at Boss Battle Games at Washington Square? Haven't played arcade DDR in forever. ...forever being since July, I played DDR A at the Round1 in Denver. But it was just a couple rounds, and ...

Re: Main Event Entertainment - PIU Infinity

Machine is still in great condition. IIRC one of the USB ports was pushed into the machine, but they're both in the proper position now so I think they're fixed. Forgot my USB drive so I wasn't able to test them.

btw their sriracha wings aren't bad
