I did! But if we're talking about the V4 location test, then it really never came, it was simply tested but we never saw a full release of the game. BUT also, you can argue that it came during SuperNOVA 2's test ...

Oh and yeah and Konami or Betson really was lazy with the speakers. They did rip them right out of Guitar Hero.

I really hope that game is selling like crap. Such a poorly designed arcade game.

The new songs are OK, they're really easy for the most part though (as in unusually easy). I think most thought was put into the stepcharts though on majority of the songs, unlike a large chunk of Supernova. I found myself playing most of the Supernova 2 stuff since the X songs are too easy and ...

I have pictures of the location test with the Japanese cabinet, and it's a much different experience. I forgot how different the machine was, but definitely feels...bigger. This cabinet, I felt like I was playing to a flat panel with sub-par speakers.

It's really sad Betson did pretty much no field ...

Dear people: if you want to bash a game, especially if you live close enough to Illinois, then play the damn game first before giving crap about it.

And the delay's mostly caused from a stateside issue.

I do wish people would stop listening to the wrong people.

I talked to one of the Konami reps in person during the SuperNOVA 2 test (which was pretty late already in the IR), and they weren't going to release Gold. Gold was a field test, not a pre-release. It was never "shelved" per se.

SuperNOVA ...

Because the game is nowhere near finished, not enough for a test location anyway.

In other words, the game got delayed.
