Whoa, thought I replied to this after the tournament! Nope. It was really fun! A tournament without any asshole "professional" players = a good tournament. I enjoyed the final round, that was pretty epic. Getting the one song we played together before the tournament - when I also got raped on it - w...

There's an old thread on this somewhere in this forum, unless it's been deleted. I quit because there's nothing to do at 75. I mean...you go camp HNMs and have huge drama for the rest of the day over who stole what, but in the end the japanese LSs usually claim Nidhogg/KB/etc. first. The only other ...

And I hate the new no "AA if you don't combo" thing. I got 0greats and a pad good on 321 stars and....it's an A. It's actually a throwback to 5th mix and several previous mixes, where FC was one grade no matter what and the other grade tiers were all for non-FC results. DDRMAX arcade was the first ...

Officially, even without that bill, you have to be 17 to buy M-rated games, right?

Not like anyone enforces it, but...you get the point. The fact that this law was passed at all shows that something is wrong in the system. Kids will still ask their parents to buy these games and they still will.

This is generally true in any public location where you can play 8+ foot songs.

Update to this. I'm officially "boycotting" the PP here. It's not a real boycott because I don't try and convince other people to do it, too - I don't need to. I was the last person in the area to quit playing at PP permanently. Everyone else moved to Mega Play a while back. Basically, our local man...

Get Pump. I would push the Extreme if you didn't have one in-town, but you do. Use the money you save buying Pump over a ded-cab ITG2 to buy the new $35 sensors from Andamiro for the ones not working on your ITG machine. Considering, though, what the Putt-Putt over here has done (read: NOT done) wit...

I just have the lame IIDX RED e-amuse card that came with 8th style. =( I carry it in my wallet, though, and I was able to use it in Japan. Rock.

Okay, I'm back. Sort of. Anyway, it's over...I forgot to mention that I did play in Illinois before I left, at U of I. It just wasn't part of the "official" trip. But I shouldn't lose a life for it!

Anyway, this trip added...what, 4 new states to my DDR experiences? Cool. Just, uh...43 left...

Do I gain a life back this stage? (Thankfully, we didn't pop into Montana like we planned...)

Sage's World Tour

It's like my own personal World Tour oni! I'm on an 8-day tour of a handful of American landmarks with my dad, stepmom, and two half-brothers. 7- and 8-year old half-brothers. In the back seat with me. Yeah. The point is, I'm also playing DDR in every state as I go. If possible. So far, I've hit up:...

May I point out that Tournamix 6 is underway? http://forums.ddrei.com/viewforum.php?f=114 (Shameless plug for my own song, Do It Again, and chocobojoe's Nautica.) Just saying that it'd be a great plug for it to put it on your machines. ;) Or, at least, the songs that make the cut first round - that'...

Uh...sure! I, uh, played it. Best 200 yen I've ever spent.
